University of Ljubljana Exchange Programmes

The Faculty of Economics Ljubljana University (FELU) offers student exchange programs with over 15 curriculums offered in English and over 80 courses which are also offered in English. They accommodate over 500 exchange students per year and have partnerships with 200 institutions world-wide. The University of Ljubljana make study in Slovenia through incoming exchange students and full-time international students a reality to achieve a Slovenia education.
The university of Ljubljana exchange program is to act as a bridge between the east and the west and a centre of excellence in South-east Europe. Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia and situated between the Adriatic Sea and the Alps with around 300, 000 inhabitants. It is the cultural and political heart of the Slovenian nation and extremely charming during summer months. Over 50, 000 students study in Slovenia at this university, making it a vibrant student’s town.
University of Ljubljana however cannot guarantee accommodation to exchange students or full-time International students. After arrival for a Slovenia education students will be assisted by the International Office of the Student Organization. Any available accommodation is located well within the public transportation zone.
Erasmus students however can apply for a bed in one of the student dormitories. These rooms are not guaranteed either and given to students on a first come first serve basis. Dormitories all have double rooms, consisting of two beds, bathroom and kitchen, with Internet access in all the rooms.
Students who study in Slovenia are issued with a student card and entitled to subsidized meals in restaurants in Ljubljana. Subsidies are not limited and as many subsidies can be used by every student. Students are welcome to apply at the beginning of each semester to participate in a large variety of university sports. Exchange students are charged a small fee per semester, except for horse riding lessons and golf, where students pay for each lesson.
